Happy Halloween!

Today, my favorite wife, Brandi, and I celebrate not only our favorite holiday, but 8(!) years of wedded bliss.

Have a great Halloween, everyone! May I humbly suggest a screening of a Boris & Bela classic, like The Raven (pictured above)? Of course, since the holiday falls on a Friday this year, you may want to get out of the house and get your ghoulish groove on. If that's how you choose to get your thrills and chills tonight, just remember...

Haunt responsibly!

Congratulations!! Happy Anniversary!!

I've spent the whole week watching horror flicks while painting, starting with Andy Warhol's Frankenstein, then into Rasputin, the Mad Monk, The Satanic Rites of Dracula, the Lugosi Dracula with both commentaries from the 75th Anniversary collection as well as the version with the soundtrack by the Kronos Quartet (I've discovered I'm not a big fan of that), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (a tradition on my birthday), and even a few episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Ah, Vampire Willow. Heals the pain.

Today will be the original Halloween and Karloff's Frankenstein. And the original TV movie Kolchak the Night Stalker.
