George Carlin R.I.P.

Well, shit.

(Illustration is by my good pal, the uber-talented Richard Clark. I hope he won't mind my borrowing it.)

Don't mind you borrowing it a bit, Crimeboss. I've been bummed all day long. A good buddy of mine noted this:

Seven words you won't be able to say on television again: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome George Carlin." I only post it because Carlin himself would have thought that a bloody good rip.

We lost one of the great ones–a social critic and cultural observer without equal. He was awesome in the real sense of the word....

Carlin was a foul-mouthed Mark Twain for our times; a satiric commentator on the world around us. He and his wry, @#$%!! observations will be greatly missed.
