I'm a big fan of the
Enzo G. Castellari original –
Fred Williamson friggin'
owns that movie – and while I know that
Tarantino's written his own script and this one has a different story, I'm hoping that it captures the over-the-top, bugnuts fun of its 1978 (properly spelled) predecessor. We''ll see. Hopefully it'll at least be better than
Death Proof.

There's a third "Inglorious Basterds" poster out there. [I have a link to it at my blog for those interested.] It kind of bugs me that they purposely misspelled the title, but I'm starting to get used to it...
I don't like the misspelling either. Why is being dumb always seen as being cool...?
I like that first one a lot.
I don't like the style of the posters. It's looks like an promotion for the latest Eli Roth film. I wish Tarantino would have them do posters in the artwork style of the 50s-60s era Men's adventure magazines, with the lurid Norman Saunders type artwork of sadistic nazis women in bondage and tough GI's in blazing combat.
The movie should be fun. I didn't care for Death Proof either, but enjoyed the Zombie film.
