October Horror Moviethon: HOW TO MAKE A MONSTER (1958)
Tonight's movie - an early attempt at "meta" horror from AIP.

I actually remember coming home from school and seeing this on the Million Dollar Movie or whatever. It was a follow-up to "I Was a Teenage Werewolf" and "I Was a Teenage Frankenstein." Not exactly a sequel, though, since the monsters were not "real," even in the story itself. They were characters in the movie-within-the-movie. BTW, Gary Conway had starred in "Teenage Frankenstein" and later was in the sci-fi TV series "Land of the Giants."
