Re: Universal's Mummy series, I thought that "The Mummy's Hand" was OK, but the sequels were just repetitious and were beating a dead horse. I am not a huge Hammer fan, but I actually liked their 1959 version better, because it compressed the Kharis saga into one movie, instead of dragging it out.
