These movies were shown in Japan in 1965 and 1966, but for some reason they were not released in the US until 1970, when they ran on a double bill. So Monster Zero was not seen in the US until after Destroy All Monsters. I remember seeing the double feature when I was ten and being a little disappointed. Monster Zero only had three monsters and Destroy All Monsters had eleven. And War of the Gargantuas was a follow-up to Frankenstein Conquers the World, but it was more like a remake than a sequel.
