Dave Stevens R.I.P.









I don't know what I could say about the passing of Dave Stevens, one of my favorite artists of all time, that Mark Evanier hasn't said, and said better. I didn't know Dave, except through his work, but it was his marvelous talent that helped make the 80's my Golden Age of comics.

Damn.

Rest in Peace, Dave.

    yeah, I'd not heard of his passing, but that's pretty sad, great talent and The Rocketeer was one of my fave comics & comic to movies as well.

    I heard of his passing on the REH group and did not remember having heard the name. But in seeing the samples here I can definitely say he was a helluva talent.
